We are seeking a Service Technician to join our team. The Service Technician is responsible for troubleshooting door service calls and performing repairs as described below.
Responsibilities
- Conduct installations, inspections and repairs of commercial and residential overhead doors, levelers and related equipment.
- Troubleshoot and diagnose mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic issues.
- Install, adjust, and replace levelers and door systems, operators, and components.
- Provide exceptional customer service, addressing client concerns and inquiries.
- Ensure compliance with safety standards and regulations.
- Accurately and promptly complete service reports and documentation.
- Collaborate with team members to achieve departmental goals.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Minimum of 3 years experience in the commercial overhead door industry
- Strong mechanical aptitude and knowledge of door systems and components.
- Proficiency in troubleshooting and problem-solving.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
- Ability to work independently and in a team-oriented environment.
- Ability to pass strength and drug tests.
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
